Privacy policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form, and I use it to reply to you. There are no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

This site loads no third-party scripts, no advertising pixels, and no external fonts. Everything it needs is served from argusdigitalworks.com. Nothing on this page is a promise I have to work to keep — it is simply how the site is built.

Who is responsible

Argus Digital Works, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company based in Stamford, Connecticut, operates this website. Javier Napoles is the person responsible for it and the only person who reads what you send.

What I collect

Information you give me

When you submit the contact form, I receive whatever you enter into it:

If you email or call me instead, I hold whatever you send in those messages.

Information collected automatically

My hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These are generated by the infrastructure, retained briefly, and used only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or outages. I do not use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising or social media pixels, and no session tracking. That is also why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

If I add privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics in the future, I will update this page and name the tool before it goes live.

How I use what you send

I use your information to reply to you, to prepare an estimate or a scope of work, and to carry out a project if we go ahead. That is the whole list. I do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or use it to advertise to you, and I will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

Who else touches your information

Three kinds of service providers necessarily handle it:

Each of these acts on my instructions for the purpose of running this business. Beyond them, I share your information only when the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Inquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within about twelve months. Records tied to an actual project — correspondence, contracts, invoices — are kept as long as the business and tax reasons require, generally seven years.

Your rights

Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and regardless of where you live, you may ask me to:

Email hello@argusdigitalworks.com and I will act within 45 days. There is no charge, and you do not have to explain why. I do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on those fronts.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is protected against automated abuse without a CAPTCHA and without profiling you. Inquiries land in an account protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfect, but the boring parts here are done properly — it would be strange to sell that work and not do it.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.

Questions

Any question about this policy, or any request about your information, goes to a person and not a ticket queue:
